With the need for food assistance up 26 percent since last year, more than 25,000 high school students from across Southeastern Pennsylvania are joining forces to fight hunger in Shire’s Great Food Fight! Benefiting Philabundance. A high-energy pep rally at Penncrest High School kicked off the food drive among 22 high schools. The goal: to collect 100 tons of food in two weeks. CBS-3 producer Teresa Nazario covered the pep rally and interviewed students.
According to the University of Southern California Strategic Public Relations Center’s Generally Accepted Practices (GAP) study, communications is playing a larger role within corporations, attaining Board-level attention.
