Voorhees Town Center, a Simon PR client, will introduce a new Farmers Market on May 19 featuring a variety of locally cultivated, healthy items. The Grand Opening will offer free family activities including a petting zoo, tractor rides and face-painting.
"College of Nursing and Health Professions, Drexel University, treasures its longstanding relationship with Simon PR staff members who help us shout to the world the wonderful accomplishments of our faculty, staff and students!"
"Who doesn’t want to do what Simon says? Their ideas are right on and their creativity is at the forefront."
"I think of Simon PR as an extension of my team at PNC. It is sometimes hard to see where one begins and the other one ends as we work in such an integrated manner."
"I was so impressed working with Simon PR in my previous position that when I joined Shire in 2004, I hired them to be our Agency of Record in the Greater Philadelphia region. Their dedication to excellence, their creative, "can do" attitude and the results they always deliver make them a highly valued part of our team."
"When we charged Simon PR with announcing public meetings for our $1.6 billion Green Cities, Clean Waters plan, they not only delivered excellent media coverage, they suggested—and delivered—water ice to draw the public. The result: we had more attendees than for any public meetings in our recent history. Then they did it again with terrific publicity for the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center Science Saturdays. Three story placements in the Philadelphia Inquirer drew so many families that we had to extend the hours of the program."
"Simon PR co-produces our signature events, Phiz Fest and Sake Fest, and goes above and beyond each and every time. Their strategic planning and creative use of social media combined with tried-and-true PR methods substantially increases ticket sales and makes the job of generating buzz seem effortless."
"Simon Public Relations is batting 1,000 for the (9) PREIT Malls in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. They have strategically navigated the Philadelphia media to generate extensive media coverage of our local shopping centers throughout the year which included joint community service programs, holiday merchandising, retailer grand openings and several extensive redevelopment properties including Cherry Hill Mall, Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Voorhees Town Center. From Operation PJ Pile Up and Musicopia's Gift of Music, to Nordstrom's grand opening and Whole Foods introduction into the trade area, Simon PR has masterfully garnered major feature stories in Print, TV, Radio and the Web, giving PREIT Malls a major presence in the market. The media exposure has not only generated a buzz for our shopping centers, but has also translated into foot traffic and sales for our Region."
"They’re partners in every way—strategic, creative and smart. Plus we have a blast working together. What could be better?"
The media industry’s changing news cycle continues to impact the PR industry in a variety of ways. One significant change has occurred as a result of the trend of dwindling newsrooms, which has created a demand for PR pros to be quick and reliable resources. Another major change has been social media and the transition to digital.
By now, PR professionals should be aware that multimedia is key. Radio industry professionals, for example, are now interested in more than just soundbites. They want pictures and video. In the same vein, print professionals are looking for more than just text.
